Right Wing Talk Hosts: Prepare The Padded Cells--Part Two

Tue Sep 18, 2007 at 11:55:32 PM PDT

I got some criticism on Part One from a DailyKoser who accued me of bashing Ann Coulter for maybe being transgender.  I apologized and edited my last diary.

I wasn’t bashing Coulter for her gender choices, although it came off that way and I did it wrong. I was bashing her for calling John Edwards a "faggot", a word I believe is reserved for gays only, just like the n-word should not be used by someone who is not African-American (Michael Richards' career, where are you?; I am calling out Ann Coulter for being an intolerant, hateful person who has called for the deaths of many individuals by name on national television, in her books, and in her columns. She also called attention paid to the Claude Allen controversy (Bush adviser arrest for shoplifting from Target) "Revenge Of The Queers". I will try to be more clear in the future: I JUST WANT TO MAKE YOU LAUGH. Now, on with the show.

John Gibson

Gibson, of Faux News "fame", said "we need more white babies to save America" and referred to African-Americans as having "ooga-booga disease".  This from a man who wrote a book on the "War On Christmas" (remember that golden oldie?) because a Penney’s put up a "Happy Holiday" sign.  Merry fucking Christmas, Black people.

Of course, that still wasn't as bad as Bill Bennett saying "...If you wanted to reduce crime you could...abort every Black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down."  Wow.  If these people aren't being fired for this shit, we all need to work harder.  Memo To Bennett: There are no statistics to show there is more crime committed by African-Americans--they are just way over-represented in prison because of our fucked-up justice system.  And I thought you people were anti-abortion?  You people will drop any belief or platform to do some good old fashioned hate-filled race-baiting or gay-baiting, won't you?...This man was our Education Czar, wasn't he?  And you wonder why high schoolers don't know who won the Civil War...

O’Reilly jumped on the "War On Christmas" bandwagon too, blaming it on Catholics who didn’t support their "cause".  Hey John, Bill, Mr. President – God is NOT talking to you.  He won’t return your calls, and you won’t be seeing him in Heaven, because if any of you are ever there, that ain’t Heaven, buster.

Gibson also said that we didn’t kill any Iraqis in the Iraq war—in Iraq. He called the Iraqis "knuckle-dragging savages from the 10th Century..."  But they hate us "for our freedoms", uh-huh. John just stole that from the Pod Person who said in 2001 that "we could bomb Afghanistan back to the Stone Age with a hand grenade".

Gibson, among others (POD...PEOPLE...), are now saying "We need a new 9/11".  Well, just have them plan it out like they did the last one.  He mocked Jon Stewart crying after 9/11, saying he was a "phony".  Jon Stewart is such a threat to them?  It’s a comedy show.  Sure, young people get more news from it than any other source, but still – attacking a New Yorker for crying?  Next, you’ll be saying that murdered women ask for it -– oh, never mind, O’Reilly already said that.

Bill O’Reilly

O’Really? is now DailyKos’ best publicist, because he compared DailyKos to Nazis, the KKK, Mussolini, and Al Capone.  Does that even scan?

Bill came out in favor of spanking.  That’s really dealing with the big issues.  He has said "The ACLU want to force society to house people who will not support themselves...because they want to get drunk...or high...they don't want to work, they're too lazy."  As an advocate for homeless issues who was homeless myself for 11 months years ago, I know, as I'm sure we all do, that they're not homeless by choice.  They're homeless because most Americans are two paychecks away from the sidewalk.  Why do Americans think our economy is good and they're not being screwed?  People like Bill O'Reilly. The man is always a cross and a match away from a Klan meeting.

Bill said that Iraqis are "prehistoric". Winning hearts and minds every day...O’Reilly also compared "extremists" on immigration to "TV talk show nuts who say they’re gonna nuke Tehran".  But he said that -- twice.  He said we should nuke Iran off the face of the Earth, that's the "sane" thing to do.  I think Cheney turned up the microwave feed from his bunker to O'Reilly's receiver that day.

Billo warned his viewers about a "national underground network of lesbian gangs with pink pistols" who terrorize people "all over the United States".  The U.S. Government statistics showed there are 150 gangs in America, and the number of "lesbian gangs"?  One. And I hope that one gang beats the shit out of him.

Bill (and Gibson)  also "reported" that illegal immigrants were the cause of "7,000 cases of leprosy in the U.S. in the last three years". There have been 7,000 cases of leprosy in America in the last thirty years.  Well, at least they got the "3" right.

Bill said "I wish Katrina had hit the United Nations building, nothing else." He was just ripping off John Bolton, who said "we could lose the top ten floors of that building and I wouldn’t care."  Yeah, guys, who needs those weasels, anyway?  This is taking pro-Americanism to new insane heights, isn’t it?  It must be the bad education in this country.  20% of students can’t find the U.S. on a map.  33% think the Sun revolves around the Earth (not kidding).  These guys think the Sun revolves around America.

Bill got mad when my home town wouldn’t allow military recruiters on high school campuses anymore, so he personally told Al Qaeda they couldn’t bomb us anywhere, "except San Francisco.  They have a lot of good landmarks: Coit Tower, the Castro" (where gays live, of course).  He and Ann must be working with bin Laden—they sure issue a lot of orders to Al Qaeda for people who say they’re against the terrorists. (O'Reilly had also said that if Hillary is elected President, "...bin Laden and his killers are gonna say, 'Oh, yeah, this is good.  We like this', and they'll test her..."  I wonder how far down into the basement of Gitmo a Democrat would go for that kind of provocation?  (This is not covered by "free speech".  What Coulter and the rest are doing is "hate speech" and "incitement to murder", big-time felonies.  What are we going to do to indict these psychos?)

Now I’m a San Francisco native, and when he got flak from that (he mentioned a friend’s e-mail on the air, saying "one woman was very angry"), Billo said that anyone who attacks him will be put on his "enemies list".  Now he’s stealing old material from Nixon!  Don’t any of these clowns have, you know, writers?  So to help him with his list, we sent him dozens of copies of the San Francisco phone book, with a note saying, "This is to help you get started."  People on the Democratic Underground website sent him phone books from at least three countries, and we verified they got them all.  Okay, it’s not chaining myself to a tree, but it gave all of us a good laugh, and that counts for something.

Michael Savage

This nutjob, also in San Francisco, called gay parenting "child abuse".  He obviously never met MY family...This is what I mean by unacceptable homophobia and intolerance.  These people are not only deserving of ridicule, but someone needs to get them off the air before one of their "fan"atics kills someone in their name. It will never be them, of course.  It's just human nature: we don't kill Hitlers, just Gandhis.

Glenn Beck

In September, 2005, Beck said on CNN Headline News, which hired him and Nancy Grace to be more like Fox (shame on you, Crap Not News), said about Katrina survivors, "The only one's we're seeing on television are the scumbags.  It is exactly like the 9/11 families.  There's about 10 percent of them that are spoiling it for everybody."  All these people trash the families of 9/11 victims, but at the same time, use it, and let Bush use it for six years to justify destroying our country, and Afghanistan and Iraq.  We need to get this guy off the air and not just leave it to MediaMatters.org and others to call them on it, before he compares Al Gore to Hitler or something.

Then Beck called Al Gore "Hitler".  Yeah, Hitler was really big on the environment.  After he ran over Holland with his tanks, he replanted tulips. Beck said the Don Imus firing was "part of a vast left-wing conspiracy to shut down" conservative talk show hosts.  That would be a great idea, you left-wingers.  Let’s work on that.

Glenn put another Pod Person on his show, Michael Graham, who said, quote, he wants to "see the Clintons whacked.  Let’s make it happen."  That’s also a felony, but only if a Democrat were to say that about a Republican, and they don’t, because liberals don’t come out and say that stuff.  If they did, they’d have to have five meetings first, a conference, and take a poll, and then not be able to agree on the wording.  These guys just take their Oxycontin with a couple of cocktails, wait for the light on the camera to turn green, and just spew...

He showed a video of a "suicide bomber graduation ceremony" from the Internet and said "Jimmy Carter must have been booked, that’s why he didn’t speak" there.  Carter was one of their boogeymen for a minute because he actually said Bush "may be the worst President in history", so they called him "irrelevant".  Sure he is, except for the peacekeeping missions, the Nobel Peace Prize, and Habitat For Humanity.  How many houses for the poor did you make today, Glenn? These people are part of the reason American tourists who go anywhere in the world have to put a Canadian flag on their backpack.

Michael Medved

Medved, former movie-critic turned anti-left-wing-media crazy person, said "TV makes people liberal, gay, and causes abortions".  I can’t even get mine to TiVo.

I am greatly indebted to Keith Olbermann on "Countdown" for these diaries, and Rolling Stone for the Limbaugh environment quotes.  I did not need to use Al Franken's books, because most of these are from the last few months(!)
