White House In Crisis: Part 3 0f 3

    The title was borrowed from Keith Olbermann on "Countdown", who said that if he had to use that logo for Monica Lewinsky, he certainly should use it now.  

    It is obvious that the Bush presidency is over, but you can choose what the actual last nail in the coffin was: when twelve Republicans went into the Oval Office and told Bush he lacked all credibility and they wouldn’t accept reports on Iraq from him anymore, or when the new "Cheney" book came out and proved what we’ve all known for six years, that Bush is not the real President—take your pick.

    They've lost the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, they haven't caught bin Laden in six years, and now Bush's people may Pakistan as an "ally".  Musharraf is on his way out.  "Bin Laden For President", anyone?

    China is at war with us.  They don’t have to send any troops, they’re just waiting for our children to suck on their toys.  So much for free trade.  There have been recalls of pet food, cattle and pigs being fed that pet food, toothpaste, baby cribs, high chairs, Thomas The Tank Engine toys, Barbie toys(!), and the Easy Bake Oven.  I know Bush is in bed with corporations and have let them outsource millions of jobs and we don't really make much anymore in America, but we can't even make the Easy Bake Oven?  It's a fucking plastic box with a light bulb in it, we have to outsource THAT?!
   
   Then there are all the Bush and Bush Administration scandals. There’s 9/11, the air at Ground Zero, stealing two elections,lying us into war, illegal NSA wiretapping, Katrina, TSA failures, Abu Ghraib, Gitmo, Jack Abramoff, Walter Reed Hospital,not giving the troops body armor, not giving them armored vehicles, Pat Tillman, Jessica Lynch, Ground Zero, Halliburton, Tom Delay, Mark Foley, The Military Commissions Act, the economy, environmental rape, Cheney (pick one), outing Valerie Plame Wilson, commuting Libby’s sentence, Gonzalesgate, Bush’s illegal signing statements, Homeland Security Failures, fake terror warnings, Mark Foley, David Vitter, Larry Craig, the mining disasters after Bush recess-appointed a mining executive as head of mine safety, picking Bob Gates as Secretary Of Defense after decades of getting his hands bloody and multiple clusterfucks when he was CIA...and Bush still has over a year to go...

    The rats have been leaving the sinking ship, including Karl Rove, and Gonzales, and Tony Snow, and Dan Bartlett, and before that, Rumsfeld...

    Rove isn't "retired".  He immediately went on a Sunday morning-show tour slamming Hillary.  Hey, Karl, outer of covert agents, man with blood on his hands--you have no credibility anymore, you failed, shut the fuck up.  As I've said about his making Bush use "The Homeland", it's not good for us when Rove is reading "Mein Kampf" with a highlighter.

    Gonzales, as I've said, retired to spend more time not recalling his family.  

    Tony Snow left "because I have to make some money".  They made a terminal cancer patient lie every day for them, and didn't pay him enough?!  There's one way in which the White House is not hypocritical -- they have a shitty health plan, too.  

    Rumsfeld now has a company that will help nations negotiate and use diplomacy to solve their problems--the exact opposite of what he did for six years. NOW he does it. Don't his clients look at his resume?

    In the "Rolling Stone" article, "All Flipper, No Gipper", by Tim Dickinson, (RS, 5/31/07),  Charlie Cook says "We fully expected a run by Bill Frist ("The Cat Murderer"), George ("Macaca") Allen, even Jeb Bush" (stole the election for his brother, ripped off Medicare for millions in a scam with another felon and is now unelectable).  Dickinson says Rove's vision of a "permanent majority" has collapsed under Republican greed and corruption. We have been saved from the Roman Empire-like Republican hate and fear machine and our own King George II by an amazing combination of vast conspiracy and complete incompetence.  It's as if James Bond found out that the head of Spectre was Jerry Lewis...

    Yes, this is a White House in permanent crisis, no matter what they say. The wheels are coming off the bus they're throwing everybody under...
